Quick start

About five minutes from sign-up to your first notification.

Sign in with an email link or GitHub. The setup guide opens straight after your first sign-in and ticks each step off for you.
Install the app on your phone. On iPhone, open the site in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen; iOS only delivers notifications to the installed app. On Android, use the install prompt.
Turn on notifications in the setup guide.
Install the helper on the machine that runs your jobs (macOS or Linux):

curl -fsSL https://beckoncli.com/install.sh | sh
```
Sign the helper in:
```
beckon login
```
It prints a link and a code; approve it in the browser.
Pair your phone. In Settings → Devices & Hosts tap Pair, run beckon pair, and check that both screens show the same six words.
Check it: beckon doctor sends a test notification.
Use it: beckon run -- claude (or any command).
