Your terminal jobs, on your phone.

Beckon tells you when Claude Code, Codex, a build or a deploy is waiting for you, and lets you approve or deny from the lock screen. Messages are end-to-end encrypted, and only a device you paired yourself can answer.

curl -fsSL https://beckoncli.com/install.sh | sh
beckon login
beckon run -- claude

How it works

  1. Wrap a command. beckon run -- <cmd> behaves exactly like running the command directly, and watches for status reports (OSC 7501) or a known prompt.
  2. Get a notification. When the job is blocked, fails, or finishes after a long run, your phone gets a push. Quiet hours and per-state switches are yours to set.
  3. Answer from anywhere. Tap Approve or Deny. The helper checks the signed answer on your machine and types it into the terminal.

Built so the server can't be the weak link

  • Message text, commands and working directories are encrypted on your machine to your devices. The server stores ciphertext.
  • Nothing is typed into a terminal unless a device you paired with a six-word safety code signed it, and the helper re-checks it locally.
  • The helper is a single static binary. Read the details.
